1:27 God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Adam to Noah – 1056 years  (5:3-31)

Noah to Flood – 600 years  (7:6)

Flood to Abraham – 292 years  (11:10-26)

Abraham to Isaac – 100 years  (21:5)

Isaac to Jacob – 60 years  (25:26)

Jacob to Egypt – 130 years  (47:7-12)

Jews in Egypt – 430 years  (Exodus 12:40)

Moses’ Exodus from Egypt to Solomon’s 4^th year of rule – 480 years  (1 Kings 6:1)

Total number of years from the creation of Adam – 3148 years

Biblical Historians give the date of the 4^th year of Solomon’s rule as 967 B.C.

Therefore the creation of Adam was in 4115 B.C.  (3148+967)

Therefore Mankind is 6127 years old  (4115+2012)
